Michael Jackson once said: “We have to heal the wounded world. The chaos, despair, and senseless destruction we see today are a result of the alienation that people feel from each other and their environment.”

Latest K-Pop Songs

Music has no age but only a purpose to heal, it has a ubiquitous healing power unhindered by language barriers. The latest K-Pop songs in this weekly comeback and the new categorical releases are like “a brownie coated with extra chocolate sauce”. A fresh breeze that carries you to a parallel world full of hope, and brings back the much-needed excitement. Last week’s exciting comeback by ENHYPHEN is now followed by HEYGIRLS, ONF, G(I)-DLE, and latest K-Pop songs by many other artists.

ONF – Ugly Dance

The firepower support in the song is a cheery touch that gives the urge to dance. A dance when the soul dances and body follows. Ugly Dance opens with a triumphant interpolation of an iconic yet graceful “rum pum pum” hook. The majestic energy along with ONF’s layered vocals add to the sense of grandeur. The versatile MV performance allows an effortless slipping into the sung melody along with chanted climaxes and rap. ‘Ugly Dance’ may be eclipsed by the long shadow of its predecessor, but it’s still a bold success in its own right.

HEYGIRLS – I Cook

Without collapsing into low-energy the pop song harmonizes over the delicious recipe of ‘My picturesque partner’ in making.  The 5 member group made a comeback after almost being 2 years on hiatus, giving a thudded stimulation to the fandom. The song has an enchilada of emotions followed by jubilant dance moves while contemplating the idea of a perfect lover. Finally, we can hope for many more latest KPop songs by HEYGIRLS.

(G)I-DLE – Last Dance (Prod. GroovyRoom)

Last Dance’s percussion hits to a sweet early-mid 90’s nostalgia, with a resonating deep electro throb in its chorus. The MV begins with the girls making their way into the dense forest following a mysterious creature, the dim-lit laboratory experiments in search of the secret that gets buried in the dark. Somehow the MV gives the feeling of a dormant inner bomb(metaphorically the animal) lying hidden inside the forest with catastrophic potential. As the appearance of the mystical creature concludes their search, the Last Dance that shows hints of a promise and an uncooked feeling, finally comes to an end.

ITZY – M.A.F.I.A In the morning

The title track of the album “Guess Who” conjectures the insinuation of finding the MAFIA lover at the perfect timing. A feeling of speculation that reminds us of the hesitation in a lover’s heart till both the sides wait for the perfect timing. The song takes us back to the days when butterflies in the stomach were a common phenomenon. It leads to a waiting period between a bold lover and her charming partner, leading to the beginning of something officially “unnamed”.
