Ever wanted to see your love for South Korea being reciprocated by the desi Bollywood celebrities you idolize?
Well, you don’t have to wait any longer because the King of Bollywood himself has spoken!
In a recent tweet, Shah Rukh Khan, the Badshah of Bollywood has shown great interest and reverence for the Palme d’Or award-winner South Korean movie, Parasite.
The film which blends a con-man story with a tale of suspense, to uproarious and enlightening effect, is a brilliant and powerfully revealing social satire directed by South Korean filmmaker Bong Joon-ho.
“What keeps you rapt in Parasite is the visual wit — every shot distills the movie’s themes — and the richness of the characters and performances.”
~David Edelstein, movie critic
Calling it a ‘delightfully discomforting movie’, SRK was seen marveling at the bizarre look the movie offers at the social status hierarchy and discrimination, the miserable state of the world and the parasitic nature of the materialistic hope that all of us feed and live off of!
Just saw Parasite the South Korean movie on my kids recommendation. What a delightfully discomforting film. A bizarre look at social status, the state of the world…and the parasitic nature of the Materialistic Hope we all feed and live off!!

In light of this serendipitous revelation of the King’s shared admiration for our favorite South Korean movie industry, I guess it’s safe to say that the day when a crossover between these two separate worlds takes place isn’t far!
