The 13 members are divided into 3 subunits, each with an area of specialization: ’Hip Hop Unit’, ‘Vocal Unit’, ’Performance Unit’. On May 25, 2020, Big Hit Ent. became Pledis’ major shareholder, but Pledis will continue to act as an independent label.

Position: Leader, Main Rapper, Vocalist and Hip Hop Team Leader

His stage name S.Coups derives from: S – his name Sungcheol, Coups – Coup d’éta

He is also the Songwriter and Composer of the group.

Was initially supposed to debut with NU’EST

He was a former member of “Tempest” before Seventeen was created

He has starred in After School Blue’s “Wonder Boy” MV, and NU’EST’s “Face” MV.

 

JEONGHAN (YOON JEONGHAN)

Position: Lead Vocalist

He was born in  Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.

He was a child actor in China.

He has appeared in the legendary film “Ip Man: the legend is born“, and after that, he filmed a few other Chinese features, such as “The Dog-pye” from 2010, “Children’s War” from 2011 and “My Mother“ from 2013.

He is good at martial arts and is specialized in Wushu

HOSHI (KWON SOON YOUNG)

Birth Date:  June 15, 1996

Position: Performance Team Leader, Main Dancer, Lead Vocalist,  Rapper

TMI: He is the choreographer of most of Seventeen’s routines

He was trained in classical music, clarinet, and band instruments before entering high school.

He is a talented composer and producer. He composes and makes the lyrics for most of Seventeen’s songs

He was the writer and co-producer of IOI’s Downpour.

Woozi is a member of the KMCA (Korea Music Copyright Association).

 Woozi collaborated with EXO’s Chanyeol for a song entitled “Give Me That”

 

DK (LEE SEOK MIN)

Birth Date: February 18, 1997

Position: Main Vocalist
