In the short clip, BM is seen amidst neon lights. He also shows his cool tattoo and seems to be screaming, but we will only know the entire story when it’s officially released. The track teaser however is pretty well received by the fans and so anticipation for the complete song is at its peak.

“Don’t leave me, I’m broken baby” – sings BM in teaser.

The track, as shown by the teaser, has a hint of hip hop and slight rock in it. For this solo release, BM has contributed to the lyrics, production as well as composition of the track. Through this track, BM wishes to show his fans an intimate and different version of himself. The co-written lyrics are about fighting a war with yourself. The hurdles in life and the journey of overcoming them is highlighted in the song.

BM who also follows the much talked about K-Drama ‘Penthouse’; will have the drama’s actor Park Eun Seok, to star in the music video of ‘Broken Me’. The track is actually said to be an OST for the Penthouse actor’s new short film ‘The Brave New World’. BM has always expressed his love for the drama which will also soon launch its third season in June 2021.

“This collaboration, I feel, will have people shocked because even I would have never imagined being in the same project as one of my favourite actors from one of my favourite dramas.” – BM says about Park Eun Seok’s starring in the MV of ‘Broken Me’. -BM, Pop Wrapped Interview

When talking about the future, BM also expressed how he wishes to collaborate with more artists and embark on even more exciting new choreographies moving forward. BM also revealed in the first teaser that the song will be premiered at CGV Cheongdam Cine City movie theatre in Seoul, South Korea. We can’t wait for the whole release to drop and to explore the solo territory BM has mapped this comeback!
