2. BTS Became The First Korean Band In History To Ever Receive A Grammys Nomination

As they make history and set the record of global chart double domination with their song DYNAMITE, the band received a nomination for the ‘BEST POP DUO/GROUP PERFORMANCE’ category at the ‘2021 Grammy Awards’. Although they lost to Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s song ‘Rain on me’, but had the award gone to BTS, it would have been a historic first Grammy win for the K-pop superstars.

Nevertheless, BTS took the Grammys by storm with a performance on their own song. Soon after, BTS ARMY started streaming DYNAMITE with over 1 million streams in just 1-1.5 hours. Online medias’ are still expressing what the win could have lead to, but ARMYs loud cheer with immense love and infinite hope is trending with the hashtag #LightItUpBTS.

3. BTS turned ‘The Grammys Performance’ into their own concert

Finally getting the stage all by themselves, BTS’s first solo performance this year at the Grammys was quintessential.

“Dear ARMY- Performance is what we wanted more, even than a nomination or winning; no matter the results we already got what we wanted, and we got you so that means we got everything”– The leader of BTS said in his interview to USA Today.

After BTS Campaigned Love Myself, their music is a catholic healer of depression worldwide, even now, they continue to stand in solidarity with their campaign against ‘Anti-Violence.’ They might be a boy band to the world but to the ARMYs they are an inspiration, a torchbearer that has shown them enormous ways of self-love, compassion, and has given them the strength to fight uncomfortably difficult situations.

Final surprise

The bitter-sweet day was full of admiration after reserving an entire rooftop helipad for their heart-throbbing performance, the final surprise arrived with a Vlive. BTS went live soon after the Grammys ended in order to cheer up their fans with motivation and to extend their gratitude.

“Global ARMYS, It’s Alright, It’s totally Alright, We have put in great efforts, it’s really okay, so now we definitely needn’t worry about anything, it’s over now” – Kim Namjoon in his vlive
